Shows and Fundraising
Shows are a massive part of NVSDD and Envy Performing Arts!
We love to see our students shining on stage – from the tiniest dancer to our senior students heading off to Vocational College or University. It is so wonderful to see the focus, fun and teamwork as the boys and girls prepare for the Big Day! It is a very special moment when the shy little dancer, blossoms and sparkles…….bringing tears to our eyes…..as well as the seasoned performer who just can’t wait to step out of the wings with the biggest smile on their face and spring in their step! These are just some of the Theatres where our superstar students have recently performed: Theatre Royal in London, Her Majesty’s Theatre in the West End, Camberley Theatre, The Fleming Theatre, The Rose Theatre, The St Marys’s Theatre, South Hill Park, The London Palladium, The Wycombe Swan and the Kingston Theatre.

Fundraising
NVSDD has raised over £33,000 for local and national charities through Shows, Raffles, Programme Sales and Mufti Days! In recent years we have sent donations to the Thames Hospice, Street Child UK, Parkinsons, St John’s Ambulance, Diabetes UK, Projects Abroad, Barnardos, CRISIS, Clic Sargent, MacMillan and the Alzheimer’s Society. NVSDD also supports the PTA’s of a number of local schools – donating Raffle Prizes, Promotional Gifts and offering workshops and performance opportunities. Recently we donated Portable Ballet Barres from the range at “Dream Beams and Barres” to the Dance Department at Charters School. These were very gratefully received by the staff and students.
