NVSDD is a Recognised Dance and Musical Theatre School of the CDMT (Council for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre). The CDMT works closely with UK Parliament, including the House of Commons and House of Lords, supporting the future of performing arts education.

Shows and Performances
Shows are at the heart of NVSDD and Envy Performing Arts! We love seeing our students light up the stage – from our tiniest dancers taking their first steps into the spotlight, to our senior performers preparing for vocational college or university. The journey to show day is full of energy, teamwork, and excitement. Watching confidence grow as students rehearse, support one another, and share in the thrill of performing is truly magical. And then… the big moment arrives.
The shy dancer blossoms and sparkles under the lights, while the seasoned performer steps out with confidence, a huge smile, and unstoppable energy. These are the moments that give us goosebumps and make us so proud.
Our students have recently performed at incredible venues including Theatre Royal London, Her Majesty’s Theatre in the West End, Camberley Theatre, The Fleming Theatre, The Rose Theatre, St Mary’s Theatre, South Hill Park, The London Palladium, Wycombe Swan, Sue Cormack Hall and The Kingston Theatre.

Fundraising
NVSDD is incredibly proud to have raised over £36,000 for local and national charities through our shows, raffles, programme sales, and dress-up days! In recent years, we have supported a wide range of amazing causes, including Thames Hospice, Street Child UK, Parkinson’s, St John’s Ambulance, Diabetes UK, Projects Abroad, Barnardo’s, CRISIS, CLIC Sargent, Macmillan, and the Alzheimer’s Society.
We are also passionate about supporting our local community. NVSDD works closely with school PTAs, donating raffle prizes and promotional gifts, as well as offering workshops and exciting performance opportunities for students. Most recently, we were delighted to donate portable ballet barres from “Dream Beams and Barres” to the Dance Department at Charters School – a gift that was warmly received and is already making a difference for both staff and students.
We are also passionate about supporting our local community.
