Barfield pupils in Years 1-8 have the opportunity to take LAMDA Lessons.
These will follow the LAMDA syllabus and will allow pupils to explore Verse and Prose, Acting, Devised Performance and Mime.
Pupils will receive 5 hours of tuition (10 x 30 minute sessions) a term.
A LAMDA Showcase and LAMDA examinations are held annually.
AIMS
To increase confidence (both as a life-skill and in performance)
To improve communication skills
To develop stagecraft skills
To improve physical and vocal skills
To promote an interest in theatre
To foster an appreciation of literature, poetry and drama
To prepare for LAMDA examinations
LESSONS CAN BE ARRANGED
- Individually (Pupils in Years 4-8 only )
- In Pairs (subject to numbers) (Pupils in Years 4-8 only)
- In Groups (3-6 pupils) (Pupils in all Years 1-8)
