School Aims
The school encourages the best in every student and helps them gain confidence, coordination, musicality and poise. Students experience the thrill of performance and the satisfaction of achieving goals in a fun and disciplined environment.
Pupils have the opportunity to enter examinations conducted by the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD), AQA Dance GCSE and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Examinations are always optional.
The school employs 15, CRB-checked, teachers with proven experience and examination success in the Performing Arts. Guest teachers offer special workshops.
Students have performed in West End Theatres including Her Majesty’s Theatre and The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, as well as The New Victoria Theatre, Woking, South Hill Park and the Camberley Theatre. Over £16,000 has been raised for charity through events and shows since May 2000.
Former pupils of the school have gone on to full-time Vocational Schools including RADA, LAMDA, E15, Webber Douglas Academy, Redroofs Theatre School, Arts Educational and Lee Strasbourg in New York.
